Thanking her for her suggestion that teachers inform students better before performances [at The City Center of Music and Drama] but explaining that lack of funds and of teachers' time prevents such preparation, answering her request for $1,000 to prepare pamphlets by saying that if they had that money it would be better spent on tickets for the children so they can see live performances, etc.
